The Helikon-Tex Patriot Mk2 Fleece is a modernized version of the legendary Patriot jacket. Designed with user feedback in mind, it combines lighter weight, improved breathability, and enhanced ergonomics while maintaining a similar level of warmth as the original Patriot. Made from Hybrid Fleece (340 g/m²), it ensures thermal comfort without unnecessary bulk, making it a versatile choice for tactical, outdoor, and everyday use.
Lightweight warmth with Hybrid Fleece
The advanced two-layer Hybrid Fleece structure provides excellent balance between insulation and ventilation:
◦ Outer side: traditional fleece for durability and warmth
◦ Inner side: grid fleece with raised squares and channels, reducing weight and improving airflow
This design, combined with underarm zippered vents, makes the Patriot Mk2 an ideal choice for intensive activity, long hikes, and work in changing weather conditions.
Improved cut and practical pocket layout
The Patriot Mk2 features seven functional YKK® zippered pockets:

◦ Two hip-level pockets
◦ Two shoulder pockets
◦ One internal pocket
Unlike the original Patriot, the Mk2 eliminates the back poacher’s pocket and small forearm pocket for better comfort when wearing a backpack or tactical vest. The redesigned hood offers a closer, ergonomic fit, while laser-cut hook & loop shoulder panels with integrated pen slots add modern functionality.
