The Helikon-Tex Squall Hardshell provides maximum protection against rain, snow, and wind while maintaining excellent breathability. Designed for demanding outdoor conditions, it’s the ultimate outer layer for intense trekking, tactical operations, or extreme-weather adventures. The jacket integrates a 3-layer TorrentStretch® membrane, combining the outer fabric, a microporous membrane, and an inner liner into a single durable laminate. Its micropores are smaller than a water droplet but larger than a vapor molecule, allowing sweat to escape while keeping water out.
The Squall Hardshell is engineered for high-output activity in all conditions: heavy rain, snow, wind, and low temperatures. With a waterproof rating of 30,000 mm and breathability of 30,000 g/m²/24h, it exceeds the requirements of most technical outerwear. RET (Resistance to Evaporative Heat Transfer) is rated at 7, ensuring excellent vapor permeability for comfort during prolonged exertion. The jacket’s eco-friendly DWR coating protects against moisture and dirt without harmful PFCs.
