Permanent side shields To install the permanent side shields, align the circular plug on the side shield with the circular indentation on the temple. Next, rotate the side shield up until it clicks into place. When in place, locate the circular plug included with your permanent side shields packet. The included plug must be slid into the hole on the temple between the opening in the side shield, for the shields to be permanently installed. By adding the side shields, an extra layer of protection is added to secure your vision. NOTE: The side shields cannot be removed once the plug is installed.
